FundedNext August Competition With $658,000 Prize Pool

FundedNext has announced the launch of registration for its August Competition, introducing a revised format that shortens the event to just 14 days while offering traders a chance to compete for $8,000 in cash prizes and $650,000 worth of Stellar Instant accounts.

The prop firm said the updated competition structure is to create a faster-paced experience, allowing participants to compete more frequently. According to FundedNext, the reduced duration means less waiting between events while maintaining a strong focus on consistency and disciplined trading.

FundedNext August Competition With $658,000 Prize Pool

The August Competition features a prize pool spread across hundreds of participants rather than rewarding only the top finishers. The first-place winner will receive a 20K Stellar Instant account along with $5,000 in cash. The second-place trader will earn a 20K Stellar Instant account and $2,000, while the third-place finisher will receive another 20K Stellar Instant account plus $1,000.

The rewards continue throughout the leaderboard. Traders finishing between 4th and 10th place will each receive a 20K Stellar Instant account, while competitors placing 11th through 20th will earn 10K Stellar Instant accounts. Those ranked 21st through 50th will receive 5K Stellar Instant accounts, and traders finishing between 51st and 100th place will each be awarded a 2K Stellar Instant account.

FundedNext has also included a random draw for participants outside the top 100. Traders finishing between 101st and 600th place will be entered into a draw, with 50 winners each receiving a 2K Stellar Instant account. This gives competitors further down the standings an additional opportunity to leave the competition with a funded account.

In its announcement, FundedNext encouraged traders to prepare for the August Competition, describing the shorter format as an opportunity to “dominate the trading world” while competing for exclusive rewards.

With the event now lasting only two weeks, the August Competition marks a change in the firm’s competition schedule, offering traders a quicker cycle between contests and another chance to compete for funded accounts and cash prizes before the month concludes.
